DESCRIPTION:Flipped Classroom Model of Teaching\nParticipants \nFaculty\, Researchers and Teaching Fellows/Assistant \nBackground and Rationale\nTraditional lecture-based teaching\, while efficient for content delivery\, often results in passive learning\, limited student engagement\, and poor knowledge retention. Modern pedagogical approaches shift focus from teacher-centered delivery to student-centered exploration collaboration\, and technology integration. \nAmong these\, the flipped classroom model has emerged as the most effective and transformative method that maximizes classroom interaction and fosters deeper learning. It reverses the traditional teaching paradigm and leads to indigenous content creation\, technology integration\, critical thinking\, instant assessment\, and personalized learning. Traditional lecture-based methods often fail to engage these learners\, leading to disengagement and reduced knowledge retention. \nTo effectively teach Gen Z and Alpha learners\, faculty must adopt innovative pedagogical approaches that integrate technology\, gamification\, experiential learning\, and collaborative problem-solving.
