Dr. Ghufran Ullah: received his BS degree from the University of Peshawar, master’s degree from the City University of Sciences & Information Technology in 2007 and 2009, respectively. He completed his PhD in computer science from University Technology Malaysia (UTM) “Johor Bahru”, Johor, Malaysia in Nov 2014. He has worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at City University of Sciences & Information Technology Peshawar, Pakistan for five years. Currently, he is working as Assistant Professor at PAK Austria Fachhochschule Institute of Applied Sciences & Technology, Haripur Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. His main research area is wireless sensor networks while his research interests are wireless Body Area Networks, Mobile Ad-Hoc Networks, Underwater Sensor Networks, and the Internet of Things in general. He is also a member of the Pervasive Computing Research Group, a research group under the K-Economy Research Alliance in Malaysia. He is the author of several papers in the field of Wireless Sensor Networks in different national and international Generals. He has more than 5 years of post-PhD teaching and research experience. His current research interests are Things (IoT), blockchain technology and Cyber Security.
