Lab Engineer

Biography

I am a graduate of Mohammad Ali Jinnah University Islamabad Campus (now Capital University of Science and Technology, Islamabad) with a degree in Electronic Engineering in 2010. I have also completed my Masters in Electronic Engineering in 2013 from Mohammad Ali Jinnah University Islamabad Campus. I have combined more than seven years of teaching and industry experience in Electronics, Signal processing and Control systems field. Currently I am supervising various labs as a Lab Engineer in Pak Austria Fachhochschule, Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology, Mang, Haripur. I have taught different subjects to undergraduate students that include Digital Signal Processing, Signals and Systems, Engineering Drawing and Computer Communication and Networking in my career. I have also taught various labs that include Digital Signal Processing lab, Signals and Systems Lab, Control System Lab, Linear Circuit Analysis Lab and Workshop Practice Lab. 

I have also worked on autopilot control of an aircraft in my undergraduate engineering in which I designed the hardware for the aircraft under the supervision of Dr. Aamer Iqbal Bhatti in his research group CASPR. I was also involved in the research group of Dr. Noor M. Khan named ARWIC in my M.S program in which I investigated the different non-linear adaptive filters for the GPS/DR navigation system. 

During my job in Foundation University I have also supervised many undergraduate projects and guided my students for the NERC robotics competition in 2016. My supervised project named ‘2 DOF Gun Turret System’ won the first position in university Open House of 2019. Also my supervised project named ‘GPS/DR Navigation System’ won the ICT R&D Fund for the year 2018. I can design all kind of digital circuit and embedded system. My supervised project Human to Human Interface was presented in All Pakistan National Project Competition 2020 in Karachi in which we capture the real time EMG signal from the muscle, amplifies it, filters the noise and then utilizes to stimulate the effected body part of another personnel. It also has great impact on prosthetic arm from which an artificial hand or arm can be controlled.  My area of interest is in Electronics, Communication system, Machine learning and signal processing in Matlab
