Book Borrowing:
Book borrowing is available to all registered users, with different lending privileges based on categories. To check your eligibility, please inquire at the circulation desk. Online renewal and reservation services are also provided. When borrowing books, kindly present your library relationship card at the circulation desk.
Reference Desk:
Information Help Desks have been established to offer comprehensive reference and research assistance. These Help Desks are active and operational until 9:00 pm on all working days (excluding Sunday). Users can contact the Help Desks via telephone, fax, or email at sami.ullah@paf-iast.edu.pk to submit their queries.
Online Workstation:
PAF-IAST’s online platform, PAF-IAST, allows users to access the library catalogs and full-text online resources from anywhere on campus with an internet connection. This convenient feature benefits students, researchers, and faculty members as they can easily search for and access the information they need. The library’s online public access catalog (OPAC) catalog, accessible at http://10.0.60.10, provides a searchable interface for users to find books, journals, and other resources available in the library’s collection. This online accessibility enhances the research and learning capabilities of the PAF-IAST community, providing easy access to information resources for academic pursuits.
Seeking Help:
If an item is not found on the shelf, users can inquire at the circulation desk. A search will be initiated and users will be notified once the item is found. The item will be held at the Circulation Desk for two days for pickup by the user.

Instructional Support:
The library provides instructional support through the creation of subject bibliographies, which are then shared with faculty for course design and with students for their research projects and assignments.
Photocopying Service:
The library provides self-service photocopying machines for public use. Pre-paid photocopying cards can be purchased from the accounts department.”
WIFI/Internet Service:
The library provides Wi-Fi/internet access on both floors, allowing patrons to connect wirelessly to the internet. Patrons can use their laptops/notebooks with built-in wireless adaptors to access this service.
