Biography

Dr. Atiq is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering, Pak-Austria Fachhochschule: Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology, Haripur, Pakistan. He received his master’s degree in computer engineering from the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Pakistan, in 2013 and his PhD degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Hamad Bin Khalifa University, Qatar in 2019. He worked as a Postdoc researcher with the College of Science and Engineering, Hamad Bin Khalifa University, Qatar from July 2019 to February 2022. His research interests include the development of evolutionary computation, pattern recognition, and machine learning algorithms. He has authored more than 35 research articles, and his research work has been published in top-tier journals and international conferences.
