About the Student Financial Aid Office

The Student Financial Aid Office at PAF-IAST is dedicated to ensuring that talented and deserving students can pursue quality higher education regardless of their financial circumstances. The Office serves as the central point for information, guidance, application support, document verification, nomination, and processing of scholarships, fee waivers, talent awards, and graduate assistantships.

Working in collaboration with government departments, donor organizations, industry partners, sponsoring agencies, and academic departments, the Office helps students identify financial support opportunities suited to their academic level and eligibility.

Through student-focused support and effective coordination, the Office strives to ensure that financial hardship does not prevent deserving students from continuing their education and achieving their academic and professional goals.

Financial Support Opportunities

PAF-IAST offers and facilitates support through internal funding programs, external scholarships, fee waivers and assistantships.

Undergraduate Scholarships / Internal Financial Assistance

Internal support options are provided according to approved institutional policies, eligibility criteria and availability of funds.

Financial assistance for deserving students who demonstrate genuine financial need.

Kinship Fee Waiver

Supports families with more than one sibling enrolled at PAF-IAST. Up to 50% tuition fee may be waived for one eligible sibling as per policy.

External Scholarships

External scholarships are facilitated through government departments, donor organizations and sponsoring agencies according to their announced criteria.

Interloop Need-Based Scholarship

Supports academically capable students from financially deserving backgrounds.

Chief Minister Punjab Honhaar Scholarship

Supports academically outstanding and deserving students. Selected students may receive up to 100% tuition-fee coverage as per policy.

PEEF Scholarship

Provides merit- and need-based assistance to talented students from financially deserving backgrounds.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Education Foundation Scholarship

Supports talented and financially deserving students pursuing higher education.

Kohat Division Development Program Scholarship

Supports eligible students from Kohat, Karak, Lakki Marwat and Hangu in selected programs.

Dr. Eric Rahim Memorial Scholarship

Supports talented and financially deserving students from Chitral.

Workers Welfare Board KP Scholarship

Supports children of eligible registered industrial and mine workers.

HEC International Scholarships

Includes opportunities for Sri Lankan, Afghan and Bangladeshi students as announced by HEC or relevant authorities.

Graduate Assistantships

Graduate assistantships provide institutional financial support along with practical academic, teaching, laboratory or research experience.

Master’s Assistantship

Selected students may serve as Lab Engineers or perform similar academic support responsibilities.

PhD Assistantship

Supports outstanding doctoral scholars while providing valuable teaching, research and academic experience. Selection is based on academic merit, departmental requirements, research potential and eligibility criteria prescribed by PAF-IAST.
