It is with a sense of pride and immense satisfaction for me to announce the selection of six of our students from MS Program in Transportation Systems Engineering at the Center of Excellence in Transportation/Railway Engineering (COETRE) for admission at the prestigious Beijing Jiaotong University (BJTU), China. The students will join the Fall Semester 2024 at BJTU as exchange students under a full scholarship scheme.

This has been made possible as part implementation of the Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) signed between PAF -IAST and BJTU sometime back. While BJTU has waived off the tuition fee for the six students, PAF-IAST administration has graciously agreed to pay for their accommodation for the five month stay at BJTU.
This remarkable opportunity for academic advancement and international collaboration is a testament of COETRE’s commitment to providing world-class education and global exposure to our students in the field of transportation and railways. 🌟In achieving this milestone, the tireless and consistent effort of Dr. Asim Farooq, HOD, Department of Transportation, and his team have been admirable.
