Biography

Dr. Fida Hussain is a distinguished academic and researcher with a PhD in Environmental Engineering and a Post-Doctorate in Materials Synthesis and Catalysis. With 18 years of experience across renowned institutions and international organizations, he specializes in environmental engineering, catalyst synthesis, and sustainable development. He has held prominent roles at the Pakistan Council of Research in Water Resources, United Nations Missions in Sudan and the Central African Republic, and leading universities in Pakistan and China. His research interests include CO2 reduction, water treatment, and climate change mitigation. Dr. Hussain has significantly contributed to academic programs, industrial collaborations, and high-impact research, holding patents and publishing extensively more than 30 publications with impact factor of more than 160, h-index 12, i10-index 14, total citations 1100. He has completed advanced courses on sustainable development, circular economy, climate change, and urban sustainability from prestigious institutions in Denmark, Sweden, and France, and has proficiency in Mandarin Chinese from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His leadership in establishing advanced research labs and his active participation in various academic and advisory committees underscore his commitment to advancing environmental science and engineering.
