BE Electrical Engineering program has adopted PEC approved curriculum that offers courses from core electrical engineering, mathematics, computing, interdisciplinary engineering electives, social and management sciences, and depth electives. The primary objective of BE Electrical Engineering program is to produce electrical engineers possessing essential engineering knowledge and relevant skills to drive the high technology industry of the country. The graduates of this program will be able to analyze and creatively solve engineering problems for innovative product design and environmental sustainability. Moreover, the program also focuses on imparting the highest standards of ethical conduct, positive attitude, and sense of social responsibility in its graduates. A special focus is given to the management and communication skills enabling them to lead and participate in multidisciplinary teams.
The new solutions emerging from electrical engineering support a wide array of technological systems. Firstly, they make them work better and faster. Secondly, Electrical engineers may become anything from an electrician to the designer of electrical systems for cars, ships, or spaceships. Furthermore, they work on any electricity-operated device or product. Lastly, Electrical engineers handle the proper functionality of refineries and power plants. Furthermore, they are instrumental in advancements in medicines and healthcare like the development of prosthetic devices for disabled people. Electrical engineers are the linchpin of the modern era of 5G and future mobile communication systems. Furthermore, electrical engineers design and develop system for generation and transmission of electricity, design and develop more efficient electrical machinery, design robots and sophisticated feedback control systems, design and develop communication systems, and many more. Scope and demand of highly skilled electrical engineers are very high in Pakistan, and we are committed to produce highly skilled electrical engineers and to provide indigenous solutions energy crises to add to the economy of Pakistan. Many sectors are available where electrical engineers can provide their services.
