Fachhochschule Health and Safety Society

The society is dedicated to enhancing occupational health and safety (OHS) awareness and practices at PAF-IAST and in the broader community. It aims to equip students with NEBOSH training, preparing them for competitive employment, while also offering professional training for industry individuals. The society actively promotes a strong safety culture through workshops, seminars, and campaigns like safety walks and toolbox meetings. Additionally, it identifies and mitigates safety hazards within the campus, ensuring a secure environment.

Objectives of the Society

Offer NEBOSH Trainings to prepare PAF-IAST students for competitive employment and train industry professionals in the field of Occupational Health and safety.

Promote awareness related to health and safety within the local community.

Improve positive health and safety culture within PAF-IAST.

Functions of the Society

Organize health and safety-related trainings, workshops, seminars, and campaigns such as safety walk, toolbox meeting, staff training etc.

Identify safety hazards within campus and initiate the rectification process to minimize or mitigate identified hazard.

Implement effective health and safety practices across the campus.

Membership Criteria

The society will be open to all students of PAF-IAST who are committed to promoting health and safety awareness and best practices. Members will be recruited through information sessions, awareness campaigns, and active participation in Health and Safety related activities. The recruitment process will focus on selecting individuals who are motivated to work collaboratively for the community's well-being.
