PAF-Austria Fachhochschule: Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology (PAF-IAST) was pleased to welcome Dr. Javaid Laghari, Convenor, HEC Task Force on Business Innovation Centres, and Mr. Muhammad Murtaza Noor, National Coordinator, IUCPSS, during their official visit to the institute.
The visiting dignitaries conducted a comprehensive review of the Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC), Business Incubation Centre (BIC), and Faculty & Industry Training Programme (FITP). They expressed strong satisfaction over the remarkable progress and achievements made by ORIC within a short span of five years, reflecting PAF-IAST’s growing contribution to research-driven innovation, entrepreneurship, and industry-academia collaboration in Pakistan.
The visit also highlighted the institute’s continued efforts to strengthen its innovation ecosystem, support startups, promote commercialization, and create meaningful opportunities for students, researchers, and industry partners.
