Pak-Austria Fachhochschule: Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology has secured 2nd position among public-sector universities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the Higher Education Commission’s National Skill Competency Test (NSCT) 2026.
PAF-IAST achieved an average score of 51.26, with 334 students appearing in the test. This performance places the institute among the leading public-sector universities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the university-wise NSCT results.
The National Skill Competency Test was conducted by HEC to benchmark the technical and professional competencies of students enrolled in computing programmes against industry requirements. The assessment involved more than 33,000 students from 7th and 8th semester computing programmes across 165 test centres in 112 cities nationwide.
The achievement reflects PAF-IAST’s continued focus on practical learning, industry-relevant skills, student competency, and future-ready computing education.
