PAF-IAST Strategic MoUs with Corporate Partners
PAF-IAST Strategic MoUs with Lifestream, CREECO, and KEEZ Consultancy mark an important milestone. These partnerships aim to strengthen industry-academia collaboration, innovation, and corporate engagement.
In a major step, Pak-Austria Fachhochschule: Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology (PAF-IAST) signed separate Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with three leading corporate organizations.
The Institute signed MoUs with Lifestream Private Limited, led by CEO Mr. Syed Zahid Wasi. It also signed MoUs with CREECO Private Limited, led by CEO Mr. Malik Muhammad Siddique, and KEEZ Consultancy (SMC) Private Limited, led by CEO Dr. Syed Fakhr-e-Alam.
Strengthening Industry-Academia Linkages
Prof. Dr. Mohammed Mujahid, Rector PAF-IAST, welcomed the guests. He also shared an overview of the university’s unique philosophy, vision, and performance.
Moreover, the university’s Deans, Chairmen, and Manager ORIC joined the session. They included Dr. Arshad Hussain, Dr. Sharifullah Khan, Dr. Sadaf Zaidi, Dr. Aftab Akram, Dr. Zahid Ullah Khan, Dr. Asad Khan, and Dr. Abdul Mateen.
During the ceremony, Mr. Malik Muhammad Siddique, CEO CREECO, highlighted his company’s corporate vision. He also discussed ongoing impact-driven projects.
Furthermore, Mr. Syed Zahid Wasi, CEO Lifestream, shared Lifestream’s strong commitment to industry-academia linkages. He said that innovative approaches can help solve societal problems.
Participation of Corporate Leaders and Dignitaries
The ceremony brought together corporate leaders and dignitaries from various sectors.
The distinguished guests included Mr. Kamran Khan Ghouri, CEO SoftSeek International and Co-Founder Youth Chamber of Commerce Pakistan. They also included Mr. Liaquat Ali Khan Magray, CEO Eco Smart; Dr. Hassan Rasool, CEO Max Foster Global; and Dr. Babar Hilal, Associate Professor UoB.
In addition, other respected corporate professionals attended the ceremony. They appreciated PAF-IAST’s focus on applied sciences, technology, innovation, and industry-focused education.
Facility Tour and Future Collaboration
To mark the occasion, the university leadership presented commemorative souvenirs to the visiting CEOs and guests.
Afterwards, the guests toured PAF-IAST’s state-of-the-art facilities. The visit helped them explore the Institute’s academic, research, and innovation environment.
The event concluded with a lavish networking lunch. As a result, the engagement opened new doors for future collaborative projects.
Through these strategic MoUs, PAF-IAST continues to promote industry-academia linkages. The Institute also aims to support applied research, innovation, and meaningful partnerships for societal and economic development.
