Dr. Adnan Iqbal is an Associate Professor at Pak-Austria Fachhochschule: Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology (PAF-IAST), Haripur. He holds a PhD in Information Technology from the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Islamabad, with research focused on reliable data delivery in wireless sensor and ad hoc networks. With over two decades of academic and research experience, he has served in leading academic institutions including Namal University, Akhuwat College University, and Iqra University, and has taught a wide range of undergraduate and graduate courses in computer networks, operating systems, system programming, and network security.
Dr. Iqbal has an extensive research portfolio with publications in renowned IEEE, ACM, Elsevier, and EURASIP journals and conferences. His professional experience also spans international research and industry roles, including research appointments at Stanford Linear Accelerator Center (USA), Lab STICC (France), and technical leadership roles in industry-driven R&D projects. He has held several academic leadership positions such as Head of Department and Convener QEC, and actively contributes to curriculum development, faculty mentoring, and industry-academia collaboration.
