DR. ARBAB WAHEED AHMAD

ASSISTANT PROFESSOR

Biography

Dr. Arbab Waheed Ahmad received Ph.D. in Electronics and Communication Engineering (2016) from Hanyang University, Seoul, South Korea, MS in Electronics, Electrical, Control, and Instrumentation Engineering (2012) from Hanyang University, Seoul, South Korea, and BSc in Electrical Engineering (2008) from NWFP University of Engineering and Technology Peshawar, Pakistan.  

Currently, he is serving PAF-IAST Pakistan as Assistant Professor in Electrical and Computer Engineering department and Head of Electrical Engineering. He remained Associate Dean of Graduate Studies at CECOS University of IT and Emerging Sciences Pakistan. 

His research focuses on scheduling and resource allocation in Next Generation (NG) communication, Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access (NOMA) transmission technique for NG communication, antenna design, mm-Wave utilization for NG communication network are current research topics under his supervision.   

He is reviewer of many distinguished journals like IEEE ACCESS, Springer Wireless Networks. He is author of more than 20 international publications published in different journals and conference proceedings. He received best paper award for 3 papers published in ICACT, South Korea. He was awarded scholarship for MS studies in Hanyang University by Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan. He received Korean Industrial scholarship during PhD at Hanyang University, South Korea.
