Dr. Haris Sheh Zad is currently working as Assistant Professor in the department of Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering at Pak-Austria Fachhochschule: Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology, Haripur, Pakistan. He completed his PhD with specialization in Automation and Control Engineering from Koc University, Istanbul, Turkey in 2017. From 2017 till 2021, he worked as Assistant Professor at Riphah International University, Islamabad, Pakistan. He is an HEC approved PhD supervisor. His research interests include electric vehicles, artificial heart pumps, converters, inverters, permanent magnet motors, magnetic bearings, bearingless motors, third generation left ventricular assist devices, magnetic circuit design, analysis of systems using numerical methods, Finite Element Analysis methods, mathematical modeling and control of linear and non-linear systems.
