Dr. Ihteram Ali is an Assistant Professor of Applied Mathematics at the Pak-Austria Fachhochschule: Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology, Haripur, Pakistan, since March 2026. He earned his PhD in Applied Mathematics from GIK Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology in 2021, where he also completed his Master’s degree, and holds a Bachelor’s degree from Islamia College University, Peshawar. He has diverse teaching experience, including serving as a Course Instructor at GIK Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology (2019–2021), Assistant Professor at Women University Swabi (2021-2025), where he also served as Head of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics. He has taught key courses such as calculus, linear algebra, numerical analysis, and differential equations.
His research focuses on developing efficient numerical methods for solving partial differential equations, particularly using meshfree techniques and polynomial-based approaches such as Lucas and Fibonacci polynomials. He has published over 20 research articles in reputable international journals and supervised several MPhil students. He is actively engaged in research, academic collaboration, and journal reviewing, contributing to the advancement of applied and computational mathematics.
