Ms. Neelam Akbar is a dedicated Lecturer in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at the Pakistan Austria Fachhochschule Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology (PAF-IAST), Mang, Haripur. She holds a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) from the University of Peshawar and recently completed her postgraduate education at Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad. With a strong foundation in clinical pharmacy and hospital operations, she brings a wealth of experience from her roles at CMH Quetta and Bahria International Hospital, where she led initiatives in pharmacovigilance, infection control, and therapeutic committee leadership.
Her professional journey reflects a commitment to patient-centered care, continuous quality improvement, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Dr. Akbar has contributed to hospital projects focused on crash cart redesign and service delivery standards, and she actively participates in antimicrobial resistance programs. Her research interests include antimicrobial resistance, Pharmacovigilance and patient outcomes. Passionate about advancing pharmacy practice, she continues to inspire future healthcare professionals through education and innovation.
