Dr. Sadia Akhtar

Dr. Sadia Akhtar is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the School of Business, Entrepreneurship and Professional Development at Pak-Austria Fachhochschule: Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology, Haripur, Pakistan. She obtained her PhD from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) under the supervision of Prof. SONG Wei via CAS-TWAS President’s Fellowship Scholarship. Earlier, she received her Master of Science (MPhil) from the School of Public Affairs, University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) under supervision of Prof. Zhangzhi GE through the Chinese Scholarship Council (CSC). She completed her M. Sc. degree in 2015 from the Department of Economics University of Peshawar. Her research interests include social media adoption, entrepreneurship & innovation, environmental sustainability, leadership in business organizations, tea technologies, history of science and technology, adoption of pro-environmental behaviors, and cross-cultural studies. She worked as a lecturer for one year at the Govt. Girls College Pabbi, Nowshera, Pakistan. She has published ten research articles as a first author and overall 20 publications in peer-reviewed international journals, as well as presented her research work at various national and international conferences and won the best oral presenter award. Several international & national prizes have been awarded to her (CAS-TWAS Presidential Fellowship award, and Chinese Scholarship Council award, etc.). Overall, she has three years of teaching and six years of research experience.
