Dr Syed Haider Khalil is an Associate Professor and Head of the School of Business, Entrepreneurship & Professional Development (SBEPD) at Pak-Austria Fachhochschule: Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology. He teaches undergraduate and MBA programmes in organisational behaviour, Human Resource Management, Leadership, Research Methods, and Management, and contributes to academic leadership through curriculum development, quality assurance, and evidence-based, case-oriented teaching.
He holds a PhD in Management from the University of York (UK) and an MBA from the University of Birmingham (UK). His research interests include organisational behaviour, leadership, employee relations, sustainability and ESG, and tourism/hospitality, with a growing focus on workplace inclusion and fairness. Previously, he served in academic roles at Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan, where he taught and supervised research at undergraduate, MBA, and doctoral levels. He also brings cross-sector professional experience, spanning banking, humanitarian/NGO work, and public-sector monitoring, which informs his applied approach to teaching, research, and industry engagement.
