Assistant Professor

Biography

I am Dr. Talha Ahmed Khan, a passionate researcher and academician in the field of Computer Engineering, with a specialization in AI-driven Networks. My journey into the realms of technology and innovation began in 2013 with a foundational degree in Computer Science from renowned FAST-NU, which set the stage for my unwavering commitment to advancing the field of computer engineering.

In 2017, I embarked on a postgraduate journey at a leading institute in South Korea, pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering. This period was marked by intense study and research, focusing on the intricate dynamics of computer networks, which laid the groundwork for my future endeavors. My dedication to the field led me to complete my Master’s in 2019, after which I immediately pursued a Ph.D. in the same discipline, delving deeper into the complexities of AI-driven networks. From 2019 to 2022, my doctoral research explored the cutting-edge aspects of artificial intelligence and its application in networking, culminating in a thesis that was widely recognized for its innovative approach and contribution to the field.

During my postgraduate studies, I was committed to not only advancing academic knowledge but also to contributing practical solutions to societal challenges. This commitment was reflected in my authorship and co-authorship of several papers published in prestigious SCI journals and presented at international conferences. My research projects, which often transcended theoretical studies to offer tangible benefits, have been an integral part of my academic and professional identity. This practical application of my work was further acknowledged through the awarding of several national patents, underscoring my contributions to the field with inventive solutions.

In 2023, I had the honor of joining the faculty at Air University, where I had the privilege of nurturing the next generation of engineers and researchers. Teaching various courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, I endeavored to instill in my students a passion for discovery and innovation that mirrors my own.

Currently, my research interests lie at the forefront of technological innovation, encompassing Blockchain, Large Language Models (LLMs), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Game Theory, the Metaverse, and the advancements in 5G and 6G technologies. My work is driven by a desire to explore uncharted territories, pushing the boundaries of knowledge and technology to shape the future.
