Biography

Mr. Zahid Munawar is a registered Pharmacist in Pakistan since 2012 and currently working as a lecturer in Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, PAF-IAST. He attained his Pharm.D degree from G.C. University Faisalabad and M.Phil Pharmaceutical Chemistry degree from Riphah International University, Islamabad. He is currently pursuing his PhD in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from The Islamia University Bahawalpur. He has also attained certification in Good Clinical Practices from NIDA clinical trials network, America.

He has previously served as quality assurance manager in a contract research organization (CRO) Cyntax Health Projects PVT Ltd and worked as team member for designing and conducting clinical trial projects across Pakistan. He is a formulation designing expert for pharmaceutical and skincare products. He has worked in research and development (R and D) section of a reputable skincare brand of Pakistan and developed multiple products which are running in the market. He has over nine years of experience as an academician and researcher at Hamdard University Islamabad Campus and worked as co investigator in various research projects of Hamdard Foundation. He has presented his research in various national and international conferences across the country.
