Mr. Jamal Tariq PT is a dedicated Physiotherapist and Lecturer with a strong academic and clinical background in Musculoskeletal and Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy. He completed his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) in 2019 and went on to earn his MS in Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy (MS OMPT) in 2022. He holds professional registrations with the Pakistan Physical Therapy Association (PPTA), the Allied Health Professionals Council (AHPC), and is also licensed with CORU – Ireland, reflecting his adherence to international standards of physiotherapy practice. His dual experience in both academia and clinical practice allows him to integrate advanced theoretical knowledge with practical, evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
With comprehensive experience in managing spinal, peripheral joint, and soft-tissue conditions, he specializes in conducting thorough assessments, differential diagnosis, and designing individualized rehabilitation plans tailored to each patient’s functional goals. His clinical expertise includes manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercise prescription, movement analysis, and evidence-based strategies for treating acute injuries as well as chronic pain and musculoskeletal disorders.
He has had the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population—ranging from children with developmental challenges to adults and elderly individuals recovering from injuries and movement impairments. His patient-centered approach, supported by excellent written and verbal communication skills, reflects his compassionate nature and genuine commitment to improving quality of life, Alhamdulillah.
In addition to his clinical work, he holds an academic position as a Lecturer, where he actively contributes to teaching, curriculum development, student mentoring, and promoting research-based learning.
