Biography

Dr. Amnah Anum is a physiotherapist and academician currently serving as Lecturer at the Pak-Austria Fachhochschule: Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology, Haripur. She holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) and an MS in Physical Therapy from Riphah International University, Islamabad, and is presently pursuing a Postgraduate Diploma in Pediatric Physical Therapy from the Health Services Academy, Islamabad. Her professional background includes both academic and clinical roles, with previous experience as Lecturer and Clinical Physiotherapist at Riphah International University, Malakand Campus, and Akbar Heart and Family Care, Haripur.

Her research interests encompass Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation and Exercise Therapy, focusing on chronic low back pain, stabilization and core strengthening strategies, and exercise prescription for pain and functional restoration. She is also deeply engaged in Women’s Health and Specialized Physical Therapy Interventions, particularly pregnancy-related musculoskeletal conditions, pelvic health rehabilitation, and exercise for women’s health and wellness.
