Fatima Shuja is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Management (Finance) at the Institute of Management Sciences, Peshawar. She holds a Master’s in Management Sciences (Finance) with distinction, graduating with a CGPA of 3.75 on a merit-based scholarship from Institute of Management Sciences, Peshawar. Her master’s thesis analysed the performance and audit quality of politically connected firms listed on the Pakistan Stock Exchange. She also earned a Bachelor’s in Business Administration (Finance) from Institute of Management Sciences, Peshawar with a CGPA of 3.70, conducting research on the impact of macroeconomic and firm-specific factors on capital structure.
Professionally, Fatima has combined academic expertise with industry experience. She is currently serving as a Lecturer in School of Business, Entrepreneurship and Professional Development at Pak-Austria Fachhochschule: Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology (PAF-IAST), Haripur. She teaches subjects of Accounting, Finance, and Project Management to undergraduate students. She previously worked as a Lecturer in Finance at Iqra National University, Peshawar, where she taught undergraduate and postgraduate students and supervised research projects. Prior to her academic career, Fatima gained corporate experience as In-Charge Imports at Frontier Foundry Steel in the supply chain department, where she managed import operations, monitored LCs, and handled financial reconciliations. She is skilled in statistical software, quantitative data analysis, and curriculum development, with a strong command of research methodologies. Her diverse experience positions her as a committed educator and researcher with a deep understanding of both academic and corporate finance.
