PIChE PAF-IAST Chapter

Motivated to establish the Pakistan Institute of Chemical Engineering PAF-IAST Chapter, aim to create a platform for knowledge sharing, networking, and addressing industry challenges. As a PEC-registered Chemical Engineer with 2 years in different professional society. I held leadership roles as President and Treasurer of the AIChE WEC Chapter and Team Leader of the PIChE WEC Chapter (2022-23). My event organization experience includes Chemex’22, a webinar on “The Future of Chemical Engineers in Pakistan,” and sessions on “Safety for Engineers,” climate change, and financial management.

Objectives of the Society

Work for the uplift of the chemical engineering profession. Enhancing professional knowledge in chemical engineering and shaping the future of chemical engineering in Pakistan.

Provide technical support to its members by arranging seminars, functions, technical lectures and training sessions on various chemical related topics

Publishes literature, research journal, newsletter etc., to educate and update its members and society with the current activities of the Institute.

Functions of the Society

Enhances the status of chemical engineering as a profession.

Provides seminars, workshops, and technical lectures for continuous learning.

Organizes events for professionals to connect, collaborate, and exchange ideas.

Proposed Calendar of Events

What does it involve? How will you manage it? The calendar includes seminars on effective emergency response strategies and bio-fuelimportance, plus a webinar on workplace safety protocols. Management will involve coordinating expert speakers, scheduling, and promotions through targeted outreach. Logistics such as venue arrangements and webinar platforms will be handled to ensure seamless execution and maximum engagement.
