PAF-IAST Rector Visits Sybrid to Strengthen Industry-Academia Collaboration

Prof. Dr. Mohammad Mujahid, Rector of the Pak-Austria Fachhochschule: Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology (PAF-IAST), paid an official visit to Sybrid’s Islamabad office to explore enhanced avenues for industry-academia collaboration. The visit aimed to align academic outcomes with the evolving needs of the industry, while promoting applied research and innovation.
The meeting was attended by Sybrid’s senior leadership, including CEO Mr. Ather Imran—who also serves on the Board of Governors at PAF-IAST—alongside faculty members from the institute. Key discussions focused on talent development, increasing industry exposure for students, and bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application within Pakistan’s growing technology landscape.
