Three Days Faculty Development Program

Faculty Development Program PAFIAST

Recently, the Pak Austria Fachhochschule successfully concluded a Faculty Development Program. This collaborative effort, involving QEC, the Dean’s office, and the IT section of PAF-IAST, organized a series of enriching faculty enhancement sessions over three days, which all faculty members attended.

Initially, the program focused on interactive teaching pedagogies, smart technology, Turnitin, and academic policy guidelines. Its primary aim was to acquaint faculty with modern teaching methods, such as interactive and collaborative learning. Consequently, the first session, led by Dr. Muhammad Nauman Habib and Ms. Uzma Khalil, placed a strong emphasis on student-centered learning approaches.

Furthermore, Mr. Syed Ali Raza, in his session, showcased PAF-IAST’s advanced smart classrooms. He detailed the technology infrastructure and demonstrated the effective use of these classrooms. Additionally, Dr. Muhammad Nauman Habib conducted a session on plagiarism, discussing the use of Turnitin and HEC Pakistan’s plagiarism policy.

Moreover, Prof. Dr. Sharifullah Khan led a session on academic policy guidelines at PAF-IAST. His aim was to familiarize faculty with various academic procedures and regulations.

Finally, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Mujahid, the Rector of PAF-IAST, concluded the program. He commended the faculty’s dedication to Skilling Pakistan and their significant role in achieving PAF-IAST’s vision. He also expressed his gratitude to the organizers and speakers for their successful execution of the program.
