Honourable guests, Dr. Zafar Mirza and Rai Atif from Taxila Stone Art Pvt Ltd met with esteemed Rector Dr. Prof. Muhammad Mujahid, Dr. Prof. Nasir Ali Khan, Dr. Prof. Arshad Hussain, Prof. Dr. Sharifullah Khan, Prof. Zafar Iqbal and the SDAAT team to discuss the potential of the Gandhara Civilization as a cultural heritage project and the university’s pivotal role in this endeavour. The meeting focused on various initiatives, including attracting Buddhist tourism, introducing symposiums, informal discourse, and short courses to highlight the significance of the Gandhara region.
It is pertinent to mention that Taxila Stone Art Pvt Ltd and SDAAT have already signed an MoU to collaborate on cultural heritage, art & and design, and architecture projects.
The visit of Dr. Zafar Mirza was to find way forward on the signed MoU.
