Background and Rationale
Traditional lecture-based teaching, while efficient for content delivery, often results in passive learning, limited student engagement, and poor knowledge retention. Modern pedagogical approaches shift focus from teacher-centered delivery to student-centered exploration collaboration, and technology integration.
Among these, the flipped classroom model has emerged as the most effective and transformative method that maximizes classroom interaction and fosters deeper learning. It reverses the traditional teaching paradigm and leads to indigenous content creation, technology integration, critical thinking, instant assessment, and personalized learning. This training program is designed to equip faculty members with the knowledge, skills, and tools to successfully implement the flipped classroom model in their courses.
