On December 16th, 2023, Honorable Justice (R) Syed Arshad Hussain Shah visited Pak-Austria Fachhochschule: Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology (PAFIAST) for the groundbreaking ceremony of the hostel facility within the university. The momentous occasion was witnessed by Prof. Dr. Mohammad Mujahid, Rector, PAFIAST and Dr. Nasser Ali Khan, Project Director, PAFIAST.
Notably, the Chief Minister highlighted the imperative to train 500,000 youth in the province, emphasizing PAFIAST’s pivotal role in this endeavor. Prof. Dr. Bilal Mirza, Lead Technology Park, showcased the impressive accomplishments of the Technology Park, including a visit to RAPIDEV, PAFIAST’s largest company at campus. Later, Prof. Dr. Azhar Hussain, Chairman Department of Pharmacy shed light on the establishment of a paramedical college, focusing on empowering youth in health sciences, while Prof. Dr. Najam-us-Sehar Sadaf, HoD Biomedical Sciences, detailed the excellent facilities and laboratories available.
