PAF-IAST Strengthens Support for Students from Balochistan

The Pak-Austria Fachhochschule: Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology (PAF-IAST) continues its commitment to promoting inclusive and equitable access to higher education across Pakistan. In line with this vision, Prof. Dr. Arshad Hussain and Prof. Dr. Sharif Ullah held a meaningful meeting with students from Balochistan province.

The meeting served as an important platform to engage with students and understand their experiences and aspirations. Discussions focused on exploring ways to expand scholarship opportunities and strengthen academic support mechanisms for students coming from Balochistan and other underserved regions of the country.

University leadership reaffirmed PAF-IAST’s dedication to ensuring that talented students from all provinces have access to quality education and opportunities for academic excellence. Emphasis was placed on building pathways that encourage students from diverse backgrounds to pursue higher education in advanced fields of science, technology, and innovation.

The interaction also allowed students to share their perspectives and highlight the importance of financial assistance, mentorship, and institutional support in enabling them to thrive academically. Faculty members appreciated the students’ enthusiasm and reiterated that the university remains committed to creating an environment where every student, regardless of their geographic background, can succeed and contribute to Pakistan’s future.
