Warm Welcome to New International Students

The Pak-Austria Fachhochschule: Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology (PAF-IAST) proudly welcomed its new international students for the 2026 academic session, marking another step toward strengthening the university’s diverse and global academic community.

To help the newly arrived students settle into their new academic environment, the Directorate of Student Affairs organized a dedicated orientation session for students from Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan. The session aimed to introduce them to the university’s academic structure, campus facilities, student support services, and the vibrant learning culture at PAF-IAST.

During the orientation, Prof. Dr. Sharif Ullah Khan, Dean of the Faculty of Computing and Applied Artificial Intelligence (FCAAD), warmly welcomed the international students and congratulated them on becoming part of the PAF-IAST community. In his address, he assured the students that the university is committed to providing a supportive, inclusive, and academically enriching environment that will enable them to excel in their studies and feel at home during their stay in Pakistan.

The session also provided an opportunity for the students to interact with university officials and learn more about academic programs, student engagement activities, and campus life. Such initiatives are part of PAF-IAST’s continuous efforts to ensure that international students integrate smoothly into the university community and make the most of their educational experience.

PAF-IAST takes pride in welcoming students from different parts of the world, as this cultural diversity enriches the learning environment and promotes global collaboration, innovation, and mutual understanding.

The university looks forward to supporting these talented international students as they begin their academic journey at PAF-IAST, and wishes them success in their studies and a memorable experience in Pakistan.
