Biography

Dr. Mian Waleed Ahmed is a registered physiotherapist in Pakistan since 2018 and currently working as Lecturer at Pak Austria Fachhochschule; He attained his Bachelor of Physiotherapy (DPT) from Hazara University, Mansehra-KPK – Pakistan and MS-SPT (Masters in Sports Physiotherapy) from Faculty of Rehabilitation and Allied Health Sciences Department of Riphah  International University Islamabad-Pakistan. He is Certified in “Diagnostic Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Training” (MSKUS) and “Evidence Basesd Informed Cupping Therapy” from Aqua Shoulder Rehab – Islamabad – Pakistan. He is also Certified in “Strength and Fitness Training” from UK as well as Certified in “Kinesio -Taping Practitioner” (CKTP) from USA. He participated in a seminar of “Coping with the Stress of Coronavirus” arranged by the Harvard Medical School – London on 3rd-Apr-2020.

He has contributed more than 6 publications in peer reviewed journals. He worked as certified fitness trainer and sports physiotherapist at Fitthenics Club & Fitness Center Abbottabad. He served as an active body and HOD of Physiotherapy department at Frontier Medical and Dental College Abbottabad (Frontier College of Rehabilitation Sciences). He also served as clinical incharge of physiotherapy department at Shahina Jamil Teaching HospitaL. He is working as a Joint secretary in YPDA. He is also the part of USPT, NPG, NPTO, YPA and MFHS. He is also serving as volunteer at Ayub Medical Complex, Abbottabad. Currently he is serving as Consultant Physiotherapist at IDC- Abbottabad. He is also working as clinical physiotherapist at PIRC and AB fitness first gym- Abbottabad.
