Pak Austria Fachhochschule Secures 2nd Position in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Quality Assurance Excellence
Pak Austria Fachhochschule: Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology (PAF-IAST) has achieved a significant milestone by securing 2nd position in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa among public sector universities in the Higher Education Commission (HEC) Quality Assurance (YPR 2023–24) evaluation.
This prestigious recognition highlights PAF-IAST’s strong commitment to maintaining high academic standards, effective governance, and continuous quality enhancement in line with national and international best practices.
Recognition at HEC Quality Assurance Award Ceremony
The award was conferred by the Directorate of Higher Education, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (HED-KP) during the Quality Assurance Award Ceremony and Progress Review Meeting held at CECOS University of IT and Emerging Sciences, Peshawar. The ceremony was part of a three-day HEC-led initiative titled “Together for Quality Excellence”, focusing on strengthening quality assurance mechanisms across higher education institutions in Pakistan.
PAF-IAST was recognized for its exemplary implementation of quality assurance procedures and compliance with the HEC Quality Assurance Framework, as assessed through the annual performance review conducted by HEC Quality Assurance Agency (QAA), Islamabad.
